Believing- The art and act of planting seeds for the future of our life

December 30th, 2008

That is the definition of what believing is to me.  What does it mean to you?  When I actually sat down and organised what this website should be about, a million thoughts invaded my mind like pages in a book being thumbed as fast as they can be thumbed.  I thought about this one word.  I thought about what this one word means to me.  I thought about how this one word defines not only me, but my life and the future in which is to come.

Believing:  I will have healthier skin.  I will be slimmer.  I will be funnier.  I will be healthier in body and in mind.  I will be a better husband.  I will be a better Father.  I will be a better friend.  I will be a better boss.  I will be a better communicator.  I will be a better sharer.  I will be a better negotiator.  I will be a better contributor to my community.

I am going to be connecting with people that use this website.  I am going to be connecting with people that are using their sense of believing that they will find good people to work with and build relationships both personal and business, and have a better life because of it.  Believing you can is 99% of the effort into something evolving from a dream to the perception of reality.  What’s reality anyway?  Reality is 99.9% perception of what someone’s opinion is based on factoring in what they are believing.  There’s that word again… believing.

When you start talking about positive thinking, energy flow, law of attraction, the Secret or any other form of believing, you’re on the right track.

I lost my main track of thought.  I got so wrapped up into a project and what I was being deprived of because of this project as well as what I was sacrificing in order to try to be happy that I didn’t stop to give thanks or have any sort of gratitude for what I do have.

Ten years ago, I made a promise to myself and I set a goal so high that money really couldn’t buy what I wanted.  Today, as I sit and begin this blog of attacting people that are believing in what they can achieve in life through the powerful law of attraction, positive thinking, prayer and gratitude, I can share with you now- I have everything that I said that I would have that I wrote down on a piece of paper that I burned in 2003 because of depression.

The 4 things that I wrote down-  I wanted to live in Australia.  I wanted to be married one time to one woman that I would call my wife.  I wanted to have a child.  I wanted to have a D&B listed company.  Yesterday whilst sitting in our Outlander waiting for my wife and stepson to shop at a sale, I sat and listened to a radio program because my 10 month old daughter was still asleep in the back seat.  I learned that I was taking and wanting, but not thanking and receiving.

I’m 39 years old.  I can now start my life with this blog post and I encourage others to do the same and encourage others to start BELIEVING in whatever makes them happy and confident enough to seek out dreams.  I want to inspire others to start BELIEVING that they can have what they want out of life and they can make a difference.
